Laminated bearing pad is also called Elastomeric Laminated bearing, which is vulcanized by rubber layers and steel sheets.

This type of bearings is highly resistant against vibration and the shocking from the moving load to the span and pier of the bridge. It can bear high vertical load and shift the pressure reliably from the superstructure to the piers. Its elasticity is high enough to suit the rotation of the beam end to fit horizontal displacement.
